GRIT has been an amazing addition to my routine for the past 5 months! I have always tried to be active, but after my 2nd half-marathon this spring, I gained a lot of weight and was losing energy fast! I chose to give GRIT a chance at the urging of my neighbor, Cate, who attended regularly. I thought, “I need to do SOMETHING, and maybe this HIIT training will be the intensity and accountability that I need to get myself motivated”. I was right! I instantly connected with the intensity of the class and Michele. She has been such a motivator and has gone above and beyond to make sure that I have everything I need to be successful! GRIT has been challenging and getting up in the morning to be at the gym by 5:15 am was even more of a challenge. It ended up being the step that I needed to take to make a complete lifestyle change. I have lost weight and body fat, which is always a goal when you are working out. More importantly though, I have gained strength, mentally and physically, I have learned to love my body for what it can do and to push myself in order to continue achieving! GRIT has been so much more than just a part of my workout routine. My GRIT team has become a part of my family.
