My name is Kyle Lohrberg and I am a Certified Personal Trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). I graduated from Western Michigan University with a Bachelors in Exercise Science. I recently spent six months in Vienna, VA working as a Health Fitness Specialist at the main campus of Navy Federal Credit Union. After moving back to my hometown, I am excited to get to work at West Hills.
What I love most about personal training is the interpersonal connections that we make. The one on one attention as we work together to meet your fitness goals. You can always believe that I will be in your corner. Small group training and group fitness classes are very similar. You share a special connection with your group. Once the workout is over you can look over and say, “We did it, together.”
My personal philosophy with training is to focus on building the foundation for a long healthy lifestyle, and then advancing from there. My specialty is weight loss and lifestyle modifications. I also enjoy working with athletes doing sports specific resistance training. Focusing on safety through proper mechanics while exercising is my top priority with every client. I have experience working with clients who have injuries and health limitations. The end goal with my training is for all my clients to create lifelong healthy habits and to feel better, physically and mentally.
Outside of the gym, I enjoy bike riding and hiking, playing PS4 and occasionally a good Netflix marathon. If you see me on the fitness floor, please say hi. I love talking about health and fitness. I will answer any questions you may have for me. I look forward to meeting you.
